My husband and I hired David to be the videographer for our wedding. From shooting the 'thank you' video to the final 'highlight' reel of our wedding day, David FAR exceeded our expectations. David puts an incredible amount of time and energy in his work and is SO much fun to work with! David makes it very easy to relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera. He is full of unique ideas and captured exactly what we had in mind. David was very responsive, flexible and exemplary in communicating the progress of his editing and when we could expect the final products. I would HIGHLY recommend Selby Films for anyone looking for an exceptional photographer or videographer!

David Selby as my videographer might have been the best choice we made while planning our wedding. He was on time and prepared, incredibly friendly and easy to work with, and produced a high quality video that we can't wait to watch over and over!! On top of that, the price is VERY reasonable when compared to other video makers in the area. Would definitely recommend Selby Films!!

To say David was great to work with would be an understatement, because he's that good. If you have started to plan your wedding you know how stressful and overwhelming it can all be especially when it comes to finding a videographer to capture one of the biggest days of your life, at a price that'll fit your budget. I did my homework and when our photographers recommended David I was really impressed with his work. When I reached out to David he got back to me right away with a breakdown on everything, he was so laid back and easy going while being super professional. He made me feel like I'd known him for years. David was flexible with working with us on what we wanted and on the day of the wedding he really captured it all from start to end adding in personalized touches along the way. My husband was hesitant in the beginning if we should even get a videographer, but I insisted because I selfishly wanted the memories because the day goes by so fast, at the end of it all David made a believer out of my husband. After he watched the video David got to us right in time for the holidays my husband said I was right (which doesn't happen very often ladies and gents) to have hired a videographer. Do yourself a favor and let David capture your memories whatever it may be and let him make a believer out you!

David is an incredibly talented videographer! He captured our wedding from the very beginning of the day (getting ready, setting up, makeup/hair, etc..) to the very end when we rode off in the sunset! The video is seriously perfect! It reflected my husband and my personalities wonderfully, and his music selections from were spot on. He even created a Groomsmen Gag Reel which was hilarious! I will be recommending him to anyone I know getting married. You won't be disappointed!

Throughout wedding planning, hiring a videographer was never on the top of our "TO DO" list. To us, it seemed like an unnecessary extra expense. However, we decided to forego the save the date cards and go for something a little less common-- which is how we came to meet David. Our photographers suggested we look at one of the save the date videos he did for another couple. After looking at it, we were incredibly impressed. With everyone being on social media nowadays, we figured it could be a great way to get our date out there, plus show people a little of our personality. We filmed our save the date video at the same time J Design Studios shot our engagement photos. It was so much fun! David captured the essence of US and who we are as individuals as well as a couple. Our engagement video turned out perfect and we got so many compliments! We weren't sure we wanted a videographer for our wedding until we saw his work with our engagement video. So we had to book him :) David kept in constant contact with us through our engagement and we feel that we can call him friend through this entire process. He's extremely easy to get along with and super funny! I have every bit as good to say about our wedding day. He shot everything that we asked for and more and did so without being too "in our face." Just take a look at our videos! They are the perfect to show our friends and family! Again, we have gotten so many compliments!! This is something I recommend to everyone getting married....find a GREAT videographer! You will not regret it! Here you have a great one just a phone call away... :)

As we were planning our wedding, we didn't put a lot of thought into videography because Trey has an employee who had started doing some media stuff on the side. He doesn't do it professionally yet, but we'd seen some of his wedding videos and we felt we would be satisfied with what he could do. About a month before the wedding, he had something come up and was unable to do our wedding videography. I had gotten a lot of feedback over the year of planning that we would regret not having a wedding video so I was panicked and reached out to my photographer to see if she knew of anyone. She contacted other photographers in the industry and we were given David Selby's name. I'd never heard of him but there was no time to waste! I'm so glad that we were referred to David, our cinematic video perfectly captured our day. From the highlights to small details, it was like reliving the best day of our lives! David was great to work with and is so laid back and friendly we were totally comfortable as he filmed, and we couldn't be more happy with the beautiful video he produced. Looking back at the whole wedding experience, our video by Selby Films will be one of the things we will cherish the most, and we look forward to reliving our wedding day for years to come with our family and loved ones.
